"I voted in favour of this report as the Paediatric Regulation should be updated, based on a review of its effectiveness since it was passed in 2007. I support the call for more incentives that stimulate research into paediatric medicine whilst ensuring transparency of the research and development process. Science and research is an area where European level cooperation is appropriate so that knowledge and best practises can be shared."@en1
