"I voted in favour of this report, which calls for a better co-ordinated policy on volunteering. Many thousands of my constituents in Wales are engaged in volunteering in a wide range of organisations and projects. Giving them a proper legal status would help improve skills and encourage others to join in. The work done by volunteers should also count as ‘co-funding’ for EU grants."@en1
