"I voted against this report as I support a Europe-wide cooperation style agreement rather than forcing Member States to accept migrants when they do not have the capacity to do so.
Additionally, the UK’s decision to take the most vulnerable refugees is a fairer solution than letting migrants walk across half the continent to seek asylum.
Europe needs a more flexible approach for different Member States and a firm but fair policy on who to accept. This report does not deliver that."@en1
