"Today I voted in favour of this report which lays out the European Parliament’s reaction to the Commission’s future trade policy communication on ‘Trade for All’. I am pleased to see that so many of the priorities of Socialist MEPs have made it into the report: from a commitment to the multilateral approach, as a first and best option, to a desire to see enforceable sustainable development chapters in trade agreements, and the notion that trade may work for ordinary people only when paired with the right flanking measures, in relation to social policy, education and public investment to name a few."@en1
