Such actions have become ‘common currency’ and have reached alarming levels. In this context, it is great to see that the Committee on Foreign Affairs and its Subcommittee on Human Rights have asked the High Representative and the Council to respond to how the relevant Council bodies have implemented the EU Guidelines on promoting compliance with international humanitarian law with regard to the conflicts in Syria, the Yemen, Afghanistan and other recent/current armed conflicts across the world."@en1
