"I voted in favour of the European Police College Report. In particular I welcome the prevention and management of conflicts of interests and transparency. It states that the annual reports of the College could play an important role in compliance regarding transparency, accountability and integrity and calls on the College to include a standard chapter on these components in its annual report. It also asks for the adoption of a clear whistleblowing strategy and rules against revolving doors. This reminds the College that it must adopt binding internal rules on whistleblowers under Article 22c of the Staff Regulations, which came into force on 1 January 2014."@en1
