It is important that tariff preferences under an association agreement only benefit the country with which the EU signed the deal. The Association Agreement with Moldova signed in June 2014 includes an anti-circumvention mechanism designed to be used when necessary, and I welcome its implementation in this case to ensure Moldovan farmers continue to benefit from the free trade agreement signed with the EU."@en1
