lpv:spoken text	"I support the push to halt the loss of biodiversity by 2020, especially the efforts to restore ecosystems in so far as is feasible, which both benefits the landscape and helps protect endangered species. I welcome the opposition in this report to any revision of the Nature Directives and its focus instead on better enforcement and improved guidelines. There were a number of elements introduced into this report at committee stage which I think are unwise, particularly on the budget and CAP policy, and my group has roll-called these to show our opposition to them, but overall I welcome the direction of this report."@en1
