lpv:spoken text	"I support the proposal for a Regulation on cableway installations which is an example of Union harmonisation legislation. The proposal sets out to harmonise the conditions of placing on the market of subsystems and safety components for cable installations and to ensure the free movement of these products in the EU. All safety components and subsystems will have to be designed and manufactured in compliance with the essential requirements provided for by the Regulation. With regard to the cableway installations, the Regulation also foresees total harmonisation of the essential requirements to which they must comply. The Regulation shall repeal and replace Directive 2000/9/EC of 20 March 2000 relating to cableway installations designed to carry persons."@en¹
