"I welcome this report, bringing EU legislation into line with measures enacted by the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT), the overarching organisation responsible for the management of tuna. Although the UK has no direct fishing interests in tuna, it is important that the EU, as a member of ICCAT, respects its measures, and helps uphold international agreements on fishing, which is in all our interests."@en1
