"Mr President, youth unemployment in Europe has reached scandalous levels, and this has two main causes. One is the European single currency, and the other is over-regulation on business.
Britain is not in the euro, but we do get the over-regulation. We also get large numbers of EU migrant workers fleeing their own floundering economies. Recently I had a conversation with a young Englishman in London. He was doing low—paid casual work on building sites. He told me that he was told to take a pay cut or he would be replaced by a cheaper Eastern European. Those at the bottom end of the economic scale cannot compete with cheap labour that will work for next to nothing per hour and live many to a house. Britain’s young people should defend their future by voting to leave the European Union in the coming referendum."@en1
