Well, surely one of the main reasons for high energy prices is vast subsidies to renewables and not allowing a free market in energy when – certainly in Britain – we have massive amounts of coal that could be dug up and used. But instead of that, we are having to hit green targets and not dig it up but, in fact, actually to shut down coal production. Surely you reduce prices by giving the market more free rein, rather than following theories about global warming?"@en1
