"I was in support of this resolution, as the aviation industry is a growing sector that has attracted and provided highly skilled and motivated professionals. In this case, in order to continue this trend, the current EU regulatory provisions on employment and working conditions should be maintained. In 2012 the European air transport economy directly supported 2.6 million jobs and contributed more than 2.4% of EU GDP. It is a vital sector for the EU economy."@en1
