The future EU budget provides a significant contribution to job creation through the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Regional Development Fund. At least EUR 70 billion will be available under the ESF for this, complementing national action in this field. The new COSME programme will furthermore provide EUR 2.3 billion in support to SMEs to foster their competitiveness and boost growth and jobs in Europe."@en1
