lpv:spoken text	"The Adriatic-Ionian region faces a set of common challenges which need to be addressed. This includes difficult political and economic circumstances due to past historical events and socio-economic disparities between different countries and regions. Ecosystems are threatened due to increased human exploitation of marine and coastal ecosystems. Furthermore, administrative and institutional capacities at national regional and local level must be reinforced. That is why I voted in favour of this report, which provides the platform for common actions and facilitates an exchange of information, best practice and experience. Importantly, it allows participating countries to learn from each other and to focus on a few key priorities that will bring real results and benefits to the everyday lives of the macro-regions’ citizens."@en1
