Although my own Government has been at the forefront of tackling international tax avoidance and evasion it has done so through its own initiatives and bilateral methods. This, without a doubt, encroaches on Member States’ competence of tax. Furthermore, it completely ignores the principle of subsidiarity by calling for an EU-wide Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base."@en1
