lpv:spoken text	"The mandate for 2016, while showing slight improvement, is still singing from the same hymn sheet – more austerity, the same old politics with a neo-liberal agenda that is re-enforced by the budget. It is time for a change of direction, a time to address the needs of the people and actually commit to decent and quality employment and a commitment to smart, sustainable growth. We need enhanced support of cohesion policies and it is crucial that we support the countries that are facing social and economic constraints. The hangover we have inherited from the 2007-2013 MFF is ongoing. 2014-2020 EU programs will not be really initiated before mid-2016. If we are genuinely looking to resolve some of the issues I believe we need to have a revision of the MFF. We have a duty to do the right thing on behalf of citizens. We need real investment in people, not profits. It is for the reasons outlined above that I abstained from this vote."@en1
