In 24 hours, in possibly one of the smallest regions represented in this Parliament, I had over a thousand members of the public contact me about this report. Deputies all over this Chamber have seen that the public care about this issue, and there are actually some quite complex issues that need to be considered and discussed. I do not believe that we can do justice to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership in under three hours of debate. We have many, many speaking time requests from people within this Group and others across Parliament, so let us show the public that we care too, and give ourselves the chance to subject this report to a little bit more scrutiny."@en1
