lpv:spoken text	"President, I gave my support to the Wałęsa report because it is vital that we ensure the sustainable exploitation of cod, herring and sprat while providing stability for fishing opportunities. I applaud the fact that through this report, for the first time, we have implemented the principle that the amounts of fish caught are limited to their capacity to reproduce, and that these values are based on the latest scientific advice. I hope the Council will prove it has grasped the urgency for a more sustainable approach by backing the ambitious measures called for by this house and support its use as a blueprint for the next management plans for fish stocks in other regions."@en1
