"Madam President, the fact that few want to recognise is that the rise in anti-Semitism is in direct relation to the rise in fundamentalist Islam. There are many verses in the Koran calling on Muslims to make war on unbelievers.
Egypt’s Minister of Religious Endowments reportedly said in March 2014 quoting from the Hadith ‘We hope that the words of the Prophet Muhammad will be fulfilled: ‘Judgment Day will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Jews will hide behind the rocks and the trees, but the rocks and the trees will say: O Muslim, O servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him’.
If you want to understand the rise in anti-Semitism, that is a good place to start. There is some hate speech for you.
Now regarding Islamophobia, a phobia is defined as an irrational fear. Many people have a perfectly rational fear of fundamentalist Islam. Would you deny them the fear that leads to self-preservation?"@en1
