"I believe very strongly in free trade, not aid, as the best way to help out developing nations and their people.
The EU on the other hand will impose restrictive conditions on the Philippines, and basically politicise trade. All over the world, nations are turning to China, as they do not place burdensome restrictions on them, as the EU does. Free trade is just that; ‘free’ without all of these restrictions weighted in the favour of the EU. I also do not agree that the EU has the right to create free trade deals for the British people – that is the job of Parliament (Westminster)."@en1
