Many of the changes are designed to help European political parties attack parties of which they do not approve and to enable them to cut off funding. Also changes to the requirements are promulgated, i.e. a European political party must observe, in particular in its programme and in its activities, and through those of its members, the values on which the European Union is founded, namely respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities. UKIP opposes the existence of these entities and the costs associated therewith. In addition this is a proposal for legislation."@en1
