lpv:translated text	"I welcome the Commission’s initiative on examining the current cross-border law-enforcement information instruments and tools in the EU. It is unquestionable that we need a common, harmonised approach in order to track and prevent criminal activities more efficiently, and law-enforcement data sharing among the Member States is therefore one of the key solutions for achieving this ambitious goal. I support full implementation by all Member States, and at the earliest possible date, of the Prüm Decision, which concerns the automatic exchange of biometric and vehicle-registration data. I would also urge the Commission to come forward with proposals for bringing the Swedish Initiative under the legal framework of the Lisbon Treaty."@en1
