"It might indeed be very interesting to have a direct dialogue with Edward Snowden. I do not know whether the EU authorities are capable of issuing any kind of travel pass – maybe you know the answer there – so I am not entirely sure how we would solve that.
Let me say, however, that I have focused on the allegations against the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ). Can we be sure that other Member States – albeit to a lesser degree – should not be considering the beam in their own eye in terms of cooperation with the National Security Agency and indeed of the possible use of information gathered by GCHQ?"@en1
