lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report, as it outlines a comprehensive package for addressing the needs of those in the margins who experience deprivation daily. It proposes a new EUR 3.5 billion European Fund for charities and NGOs across Europe to provide food aid and basic material assistance to those who, due to financial and societal constraints, cannot provide for themselves. This package can alleviate the struggle the most disadvantaged citizens face every day. It is especially important today – in a time of perpetual economic and social crisis – when some 40 million Europeans are living in severe deprivation. The report also highlights the importance of social inclusion and how the provision of basic needs can enhance social inclusion in the long term. The fund is an added value for Member States for addressing deprivation and enhancing social inclusion."@en1
