lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) proposed in Mr Daerden’s report. Today’s vote dealt with an application for mobilisation concerning 516 redundancies, of which 435 are targeted for assistance, in 54 enterprises operating in construction of buildings in the Gelderland province of the Netherlands. The total amount requested by the Commission was EUR 2 898 594. I would like to underline, more generally, the important role played by the EGF, which has shown itself in recent years to be a useful and effective resource for combating unemployment coming about as a consequence of globalisation and the economic crisis."@en1
