This is the reason that the European Union is taking a decisive position, which involves removing from the list of beneficiaries those countries that failed to implement the measures required for ratification of economic partnership agreements. The reason for my abstention is a concern as to whether the amount of time that parties have been given to sign or ratify the agreements (by 2014) is too short. To summarise: I condemn the behaviour of the countries that are in danger of being removed from the list, but I would give them one last chance to correct their mistakes."@en1
