"Mr President, I have not yet had my full minute. I asked you three questions: one on implementation and how the stakeholders can be involved, what the situation is with the decision on boilers, and this very important issue of value-added tax in the UK. In communication terms, it is an absolute disaster. The Commission will be ripped to shreds in the British press, and quite rightly too. We cannot pass this important directive on efficiency this afternoon and then, on the same day, the Commission completely interferes with its implementation by one of the largest Member States. How can it be that people have to pay four times as much value-added tax for efficiency products than they do for oil and gas? I would be grateful if you would include these three points in your answer."@en1
