"I voted in favour of this report, which aims to make recording equipment in road transport more efficient and reliable and thus improve road safety. Tachographs play a key role in road safety as they ensure compliance with regulations on drivers’ driving and rest times and also guarantee fair competition between operators. I fully support this proposal, which improves the safety of the device and makes checks more productive, in particular, by incorporating the latest technological innovations and by tackling the training of police services."@en1
