lpv:translated text	"This report concerns the negotiations on the EU-Armenia association agreement. These association agreements are the proper framework for deepening relations, both through efforts at political association and socio-economic integration, and through increasing judicial approximation with the EU. Armenia’s desire to establish the bases for genuine regional cooperation as envisaged in the underlying principles of the European Neighbourhood Policy is welcome, as are the country’s efforts to respect democratic values, the rule of law and good governance practice, and to promote respect for human rights. However, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict needs to be resolved quickly and peacefully, since any threat of the use of force jeopardises the international community’s joint efforts. I voted for this report for the aforementioned reasons."@en1
