lpv:translated text	"I have voted for this recommendation on the European Council’s proposal not to convene a convention for the addition of a protocol on the concerns of the Irish people regarding the Treaty of Lisbon to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. This is due to the fact that the Heads of State or Government had already reached an agreement at the June 2009 European Council to provide reassurance and to respond to the concerns of the Irish people regarding the Treaty of Lisbon. Since the Heads of State or Government have already agreed on the substance of the provisions proposed in the draft protocol and the issue has already been politically settled, this decision does not seem to justify signing a convention."@en1
