lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of the resolution on access by blind people to books and other printed products, since I am convinced that the Member States should change their approach on an international level regarding this issue. Europe must push the Member States to do all they can in order to secure the signature of an international agreement within the context of the WIPO that is binding for the parties, and which finally permits greater distribution and dissemination of books translated into languages or printed according to methods that are understandable for the blind and visually impaired. Until now, the Member States have chosen to sign a non-binding treaty, but it is necessary to change perspective, as otherwise the objective, which is nothing other than the implementation of existing international treaty rules on the rights of the disabled, will never be achieved."@en1
