lpv:translated text	". I welcome this resolution on the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC). I believe that the European Union and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) need to work particularly closely together to fully harmonise standards and improve the coordination of certain actions in the area of safety. It is also very important to note that the EU has been given an excellent opportunity to exercise the ICAO’s competence and strengthen its position in this international organisation. This MOC will also facilitate the use of limited resources, will help to eliminate duplication of efforts, and will ensure the highest level of aviation safety worldwide."@en¹
