lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report because I have agreed with its spirit from the very start. While, on the one hand, it is true that businesses – irrespective of their size – need to draw up accounts for tax and statistical purposes, to assess various aspects of their operations and to make it easier to deal with banks, it is also true that the complexity of some accounting rules is a cost, in terms of time and money, that has a greater effect on micro-entities than big businesses. I understand that some Member States wanted to change the thresholds for this exemption and I congratulate the rapporteur for having succeeded in mediating without losing sight of the initial goal: reducing bureaucratic burdens and leaving small and very small business owners free to do their work, to innovate, and get back to generating wealth and wellbeing."@en1
