"As Juan-Francisco Corona Ramón fulfils the conditions laid down in Article 286(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, the European Parliament approves the Council’s proposal to nominate him as a member of the Court of Auditors, and instructs its President to forward this decision to the Council and, for information purposes, to the Court of Auditors, the other institutions of the European Union and the audit institutions of the Member States. Juan-Francisco Corona Ramón holds a degree in economics and business studies and a doctorate in economics and business studies. He has been teaching and carrying out research activities since 1982 in 50 universities in Spain and 22 in other countries, including Harvard, the Sorbonne, Heidelberg, Kiel, Berlin Technical University, Brussels Free University, Cologne, Rome and Lumière University, Lyon. The author of 42 books and over 300 publications which have appeared in the most prestigious technical and professional publications, he has acted as an advisor to many national and international corporations."@en1
