lpv:spoken text	"I voted to support this report as gender mainstreaming is a very important issue. I think that it is important that we focus on the overall purpose of the report, gender equality. The Parliament needs to lead by example and must truly reflect the needs, aspirations and experiences of all society. Gender mainstreaming is firmly established in Article 8 of the Lisbon Treaty and this report is an essential first step towards the mainstreaming of the institutions. I welcome the endorsement of this report and look forward to further legislative measures on the subject."@en1
