"The Joint Parliamentary Assembly (JPA) between the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) and the EU convened twice in 2010, in Tenerife and in Kinshasa. For their part, the three standing committees met four times: as well as the two part-sessions, they met twice in the interim in Brussels. As part of the work carried out, resolutions were adopted which, dealt with
Haiti, Southern Sudan, election results in Côte d’Ivoire and the situation in the Sahel-Saharan region; fact-finding and election-observation missions were also organised. As a result of the assessment of the work from 2010, it is important to highlight that the JPA today has a very valuable role in North-South relations, constituting a good forum for dialogue between the countries of the two hemispheres."@en1
