lpv:translated text	"I am voting for this motion for a resolution, as it aims to pressure the Commission to achieve a comprehensive EU strategy on homelessness. Backed up by national and regional strategies, it would have the long-term goal of putting an end to homelessness within the wider context of social inclusion. It is essential that this resolution’s demands be carried out. These are as follows: data on homelessness in the EU must be collected; it must have clear objectives, an integrated approach which encompasses all politically relevant fields, good governance, proper data collection, a proper housing policy; it must recognise the need to take into account the potential changes in homeless people’s profiles and, in particular, to consider the impact of migration; and it must include budgetary appropriations from the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)."@en1
