lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of the report on the ‘agency for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice’, which aims to create an ‘operational agency for large-scale IT systems’. Eventually, this agency will be responsible for the operational management of data collected by the three large-scale IT systems within the European Union: the Visa Information System (VIS), the second-generation Schengen Information System (SIS II) and the European Dactylology (Eurodac) system. It will, moreover, have to respect the conditions and procedures of data exchange among the countries of the European Union and to play the role of ‘facilitator’. It is necessary to create such an agency because it will enable the centralisation of all these data in a single database and thus facilitate cooperation between the judicial and police authorities of the Member States."@en1
