EU citizens demanded we take action to keep the products of the cruel commercial hunt out of the EU. Canada has no right to try and undermine the democratic will of European citizens by taking our clearly non-discriminatory seal ban law to the World Trade Organisation. Closer trade ties between the EU and Canada can only be built on a basis of respect for the wishes of the European public and for European law."@en1
