lpv:translated text	"This report goes against the already adopted Stockholm Action Plan, a European Union initiative to maintain and develop an area of freedom, security and justice. Despite the problems regarding the legal basis of these amendments, I decided to vote in favour of the report, as I believe that protection measures for the victims or potential victims of crime are a positive thing. The possibility of enlarging the scope of a legal protection order from one Member State (‘the issuing state’) to another Member State to which the protected person wishes to move (‘the executing state’) is a significant advance towards the creation in practice of an area of freedom, security and justice in the European Union, and this is an ideal which I share."@en1
