However, we voted in favour of the Gróbarczyk report, despite having misgivings about some of its content (e.g. its suggestion that the discard system might have worked well for certain species of fish – we are opposed to the discard system completely). We voted in favour of it because it promised a review of the discard system. This is about as much as we can hope for within the confines of the common fisheries policy."@en1
