lpv:translated text	"Mr President, Commissioner, I myself questioned the Commission in June on the negative impact of the liberalisation of public services on consumers by emphasising that numerous investigations have uncovered serious shortcomings, most notably in postal services, such as price rises, a decrease in service quality and a lack of transparency. I urge the Commission once again to analyse not only the electricity market, as it did at the start of 2010, but also postal services, in order to determine the extent to which consumers really benefit from a free market in terms of choice, price and quality. I would also urge it to analyse job quality within postal services. I ask this because the time for making fine statements about the benefits of liberalisation has passed. It is time, now, to make judgments on the basis of actual evidence before any further steps are taken, so that the mistakes made in the other liberalised sectors are not repeated in the postal services sector. I duly note the creation of the users’ dialogue group but, as Mr El Khadraoui said before me, more progress needs to be made; we expect more of you, Commissioner. The Commission must stop rushing ahead regardless."@en1
