It is a major setback, and I wonder whether this legislation is about saving the environment or saving the car manufacturers. I have the impression that on this occasion the environmentalists, not excluding Commissioner Dimas, have put up a fight to save the environment but they have lost to the major car manufacturers. This is very sad because we had a chance to make a difference and we missed it."@en1
