Although I support capacity reduction – currently some Community fisheries are at least 40% over capacity – I do not think this proposal will achieve the changes required to achieve a sustainable EU fishing sector. With 80% of EU stocks at worrying levels we need real capacity reduction, not renewed boat building at the taxpayers’ expense."@en1
