The citizens want a Europe that also confers social rights. This proposal for a methodology for the effective implementation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights in the Commission’s legislative proposals and, in particular, systematic and rigorous monitoring to ensure that all of the fundamental rights concerned are complied with at the time of the drafting of all legislative proposals, must lead to Europe's wishes being fulfilled.
