Many of our citizens think that disability issues have been resolved because legislation in many of our countries has been in place for years. That is just not the case, the reality on the ground often does not match the aims of the legislative framework, and further urgent action is very necessary to ensure that all our citizens have access to travel. This is a good news story of the European Union taking action where Member States have not, and I am very very pleased to support it."@en1
