That would provide scope for an almost immediate assessment of the state of health of sponge stocks within the areas covered by the agreement with Morocco. Once we have a scientific evaluation of the state of health of the stocks, then we will negotiate with Morocco the inclusion of this type of fishery in the agreement. In fact, there is an understanding with Morocco to this effect. I will see to it that the experimental fisheries and scientific evaluation are carried out as early as possible."@en1
