Triples with object UKIP voted against this binding budgetary report. This amending budget would require the UK to pay just over EUR 700 million back to the EU, retrospectively, for the years 2014 and 2015. UKIP opposes giving any taxpayer’s money to the EU as it should be used to help jobs and public services back in the UK. Asking the UK for a fresh backdated bill is doubly outrageous after the country just voted to leave the EU.
