Triples with object UKIP abstained on this binding budgetary report. This amending budget would increase EU budget ceilings by a net total of EUR 255 million and also create 50 new posts for Frontex (the EU border force). However it also cuts the amount of payment appropriations from the EU budget by over EUR 7 billion and gives this money back to Member States. Our calculation shows that the UK would get an estimated EUR 1.6 billion back. While UKIP cannot vote in favour of increasing EU budgets, we can’t oppose getting money back for the UK
